How to communicate better while speaking in an event

The essence of any type of relationships is Excelling in communication. sometimes we may experience a communication block even with our own loved ones. We may thing we cannot express how we feel. Bad communication may hard your relationships. It can affect your performance in any aspect of life, diminish your self-confidence and even your physical health.
Communication , at the simplest level involves two states, speaking and listening. When people do not share a common perspective, its even more important to use your conversational skills to help them understand.
Effective communication means achieving a shared understanding between receiver and sender of messages of what the issue on which communication is important. Good communication means an efficiently directing of the flow of information. An effective communicator will help its audience overcome the barriers that limit an open discussion. Using effective communication skills you can persuade others to do accept your opinion, follow your wishes and agree with you. You can help people gain a better perspective by showing them a different way of looking at things.
– One key to effectively communicating is Attentive listening. Listen to others in such a way that they can see that you care and the key is to to be genuine about it. You can empathise with somebody when you try to put yourself in their situation.
– A Good rule of thumb is to keep your conversations and communication precise and simple. Convey your messages in a simple and concise manner. Repeat whenever it is necessary and look for confirmation that your audience understands what you want to communicate.
– Your body language has abig role to play in how well you are recieved. if you excude confidence there is a better chance to get through to others. Your body language will determine the response you get from other people.
Communication, like any other skill can be improved through practice. Always be aware that your communication can be misinterpreted. You have to continually stay alert for signs that your audience is misinterpreting what you are saying and find ways to correct any misunderstandings.
